Program | Installation of new Bio-Mass Boiler |

Broadford Primary School has received a new upgrade to its heating system with the addition of a new Bio-Mass boiler. The externally housed boiler will completely replace the existing oil fired heating system. It runs on wood pellets, a sustainable fuel source becoming increasingly popular in the UK.
This installation was part of a wider Highland Council remit which will see another 20 schools benefit from this improved technology. The boiler is housed in a custom built, wood clad container which keeps it completely seperate from the existing school building. The system allows for remote monitoring and control of the boiler to ensure it runs efficiently over the course of it’s lifespan.
